Availability:
Items that are listed as “in stock” on our website are currently on the shelves in our store and will be shipped from our store within 1-2 days of purchase. We use Sendle and Australia Post. Packages can take 1-2 weeks to arrive at the destination (longer depending on your location). Please let us know if you require the tracking information sent to you. While we attempt to keep our stock levels as up to date as possible, unfortunately stock may sell out in-store before the website is refreshed. If this happens we will be advised if there will be a delay.
If you are unable to find a title on our website, please contact us and we will do our best to track it down for you.
Price Changes:
Whilst we do our best to keep the prices on our website current, prices are subject to change. All prices on items that are listed as “in stock” are current and accurate.
Postage and Handling:
For orders shipped anywhere in Australia, postage is a starting fee of $10.00 with an extra $3 per book. Orders over $150 have free postage. Please note we do not deliver overseas.

Quick Brown Fox Bookshop uses the eWAY Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. eWAY processes online credit card transactions for thousands of Australian merchants, providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the eWAY gateway are secured payments.
- Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
- Quick Brown Fox Bookshop or any outside party cannot view your complete credit card number.
- All transactions are performed under 128 Bit SSL Certificate.
- All transaction data is encrypted for storage within eWAY's bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
- eWAY is an authorised third party processor for all the major Australian banks.
- eWAY at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by The Leaf Bookshop.
Returns and Refunds:
Incorrect, damaged or faulty items may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a replacement or full refund (including postage costs).
Some of our discounted stock is "remaindered" or "marked" by the publishers. The publishers do this by placing a black stripe on the base of the book. We do not accept returns because a book is marked by the publisher.
Should you change your mind once you have received your order, we may, at our discretion, offer a credit note or exchange. Please contact us for approval. All “change of mind” returns must be returned in a mint, unread condition together with proof of purchase within 14 days of purchase.

Privacy Policy:
We value the privacy of our customers, as such we won't be selling your information, and we won't be constantly spamming you with annoying emails.
The only information we collect is your name, address, phone number and email address, which is only collected to process your order with us. We do not use your details for marketing purposes and we do not pass your details onto third parties.
Credit Card transactions are processed securely and we do not store any of this information after your purchase has been approved.
Changes to Privacy Policy:
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by Email, or by means of a notice on our homepage.
Access to collected information:
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by emailing us at books@qbfbookshop.com.au.

Quick Brown Fox Bookshop may at its discretion use other third parties to provide essential services on our site or for our business processes. We may share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that service.
These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose. Quick Brown Fox Bookshop does not share any information with third parties for any unknown or unrelated uses.
Special Orders & Holds:
Special orders are subject to supplier delivery times. Items in stock at time of order may change according to supplier stock levels. Special orders will be kept in-store for eight weeks before the item is either placed back on the shelf or returned to supplier. Any deposits paid on the item will be added to the customer's account and will be usable for up to a year. If a customer is unable to immediately collect or pay for their special order due to extenuating circumstances or financial hardship, please contact staff and we will consider either extending the special order hold period and/or creating a payment plan.
Item holds will be held for three days before being placed back on the shelf. Some items may not be available to be placed on hold due to customer demand. Please allow a period of up to three hours during opening hours for click-and-collect and order holds – particularly during busy periods. We also recommend calling ahead to confirm item is in stock and available to be collected. If there is an issue with any click-and-collect items or hold items, we endeavour to notify customers as soon as possible. Please be sure there is a working contact number or email address attached to your click-and-collect item or hold item.
Conditions of Entry:
Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn upon entry. We ask customers to take care when consuming food or beverages while handling products in other areas of the store.
Children under six must be actively supervised by an adult at all times within the store.
In the case of accidental breakages, please do not return it to the shelf - notify the staff .Customers are asked to follow directions on signs and do not remove products from packaging or play excessively with delicate items, including soft toys.
The QLD check-in app is no longer required for entering the store premises. COVID-19 vaccination status is not required to be checked upon entry to the premises. Face masks are no longer mandatory on-site, though customers are encouraged to wear them if they feel comfortable to do so.
We do not tolerate abusive, aggressive or rude behaviour aimed at staff - this will result in your removal from the premises. If you refuse to leave the premises, the police will be contacted.
Vouchers:
Gift vouchers are available to purchase. There is no fee for purchasing a gift voucher. Vouchers are valid for three years upon purchase & issuing of the voucher.
